KicksStalker: PH players bring LeBron’s ‘Agimat’ to Fiba 3×3 World Cup
The Philippine teams in the Fiba 3×3 World Cup will be rocking LeBron James’ latest Filipino-themed shoes against the best streetballers in the world.
The country’s representatives in the men’s and women’s division of the five-day tournament at Philippine Arena will be debuting James’ latest shoe drop, the LeBron Soldier 12 “Agimat” colorway, which heavily features Filipino elements.
With “Agimat” once again carrying the tagline “Mula Mandirigma sa Mandirigma (From one warrior to another),” the words “Para Sa Kadakilaan (For greatness)” are printed in gold at the back of the shoe.
Article continues after this advertisementPBA players Stanley Pringle, Christian Standhardinger, Troy Rosario, and Roger Pogoy will don the Philippine color’s in the stacked men’s action where they are bracketed with some of the tournament’s best teams.
They will face Brazil and Mongolia on June 9, then Canada and Russia on June 11.
Meanwhile, Afril Bernardino, Jack Danielle Aminam, Gemma Miranda, and Janine Pontejos will carry the flag in the women’s side.

The top two teams from each bracket advance tothe quarterfinals and then will play knockout games all the way to the final, all one June 12.
