Steph Curry set to grace UAAP Season 81 opening
The UAAP is pulling out all the stops to start its 81st season.
Host National University will showcase the 2018-2019 season both as a sporting spectacle and also as an entertainment endeavor.
Golden State’s Stephen Curry, who won three titles and two MVPs in the NBA, will make a special appearance in the opening ceremonies that will begin at 12 pm Saturday at Mall of Asia Arena.

And Curry’s guesting is just part of the attraction.
Four-time UAAP Cheerdance Competition champions NU Pepsquad will perform with fellow school-based groups NU Underdawgz and NU Chorale with the Buganda Dancers also set to be in the program.

University of the Philippines and University of the East kick off the hoops action at 2pm with NU and University of Santo Tomas closing out the day.
