NCAA: San Beda mauls EAC for sixth straight win
San Beda continued its hot streak with a 76-57 dismantling of Emilio Aguinaldo College in the NCAA Season 94 men’s basketball tournament Thursday at Filoil Flying V Centre.
The Red Lions are still undefeated in the second round after six games and improved to a 12-1 record to stay at the second seed while Generals are hanging on for dear life with a 2-10 card at 11th place.
Article continues after this advertisementSan Beda held a slim 38-36 lead over the Generals heading into the break but the defending champion completely lambasted EAC in the third with a 21-9 run en route to the win.
Robert Bolick led San Beda with 20 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, and three steals while Javee Mocon added 11 points.
Hamadou Laminou finished with a 15-point, 10-rebound double-double for the Generals.
