Player of the Week: Fiery Lee fueling Magnolia’s hot start
Magnolia is rolling and showing no signs of slowing down with star guard Paul Lee leading the way.
Lee has been on a tear as of late, averaging 25 points in his last two games where the Hotshots whipped the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters and edged the San Miguel Beermen.
Article continues after this advertisementThe 29-year-old Lee had 22 points and seven assists in a 92-76 rout of the Painters last Wednesday before dropping 28 points, including the game-winning jumper with 34 seconds left, to stun the Beermen on Sunday.
The 6-foot Lee’s heroics has propelled Magnolia near the top of the standings with 4-1 record, just half a game behind league-leader Barangay Ginebra.
His brilliance has also earned him the Cignal-PBA Press Corps Player of the Week.
