Volleyball sensation Alyssa Valdez and basketball star Kiefer Ravena teamed up for a 23-21 victory over Charo Soriano and John Vic de Guzman in the celebrity match of the Beach Volleyball Republic On Tour December Open 2018: A Christmas Rally recently at The Sands SM By The Bay.

Ravena and Valdez scored the match’s last three points of the match to seal the victory.

Soriano, one of the BVR founders, said proceeds of the celebrity match will go to Mindanao State University-Marawi College of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation Academy.

“It’s been an honor being able to play the game that we love and at the same time being able to help our young brothers and sisters in Marawi,” Soriano said.
