Cray sets sights on Olympics
ILAGAN, ISABELA—Aside from hurdling the forthcoming Southeast Asian Games, sprinter Eric Cray is aiming to crack an Olympic slot anew, compete in the finals and win.
“Yeah, the Olympics is my No. 1 goal. It is a difficult task but I have a lot of hard work to do,” Cray told the Inquirer after his City of Ilagan team ruled the 4×100-meter relay in the 2019 Ayala Philippine Athletics Championships here on Wednesday evening.
Unsatisfied with their 40.13-second finish, Cray said “they had a lot of adjustments” to do with teammates Anfernee Lopena, Jomar Udtohan and Clinton Bautista.
