Finn flies to lead

TARLAC—Finn Teemu Putkonen shot an eagle-spiked 68 to snatch the third-round lead from Guido Van der Valk in the ICTSI Luisita Championship here yesterday.

Putkonen, with a 10-under 206, zoomed three shots ahead of Van der Valk.

Spain’s Marcos Pastor is at joint third four strokes behind, along with Micah Shin, who fired a 67, Japanese Keita Sudo, who shot a 70, Thai Natthapong Niyomchon (70) and first-round leader Namchok Tantipokhakul (72).
