PVL: Creamline vents ire on PacificTown-Army for 1st win

MANILA, Philippines–Creamline bounced back from its opening-day defeat by crushing PacificTown-Army, 25-21, 25-16, 25-18, Wednesday in the Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference at FilOil Flying V Center.

The Cool Smashers, who opened their campaign with a straight sets defeat at the hands of the PetroGazz Angels (25-22, 26-24, 25-22) last Sunday, scored their first win in the tournament they have won last year.

After a close opening set, Creamline stepped on it in the second frame, outgunning the Lady Troopers, 15-9, to win the set with seeming ease.

The Lady Troopers dropped to 1-1 after winning their first game over the BaliPure Water Defenders (25-20, 25-16, 24-26, 25-23).
