Unbeaten PetroGazz nails Final Four, pounds skidding BaliPure

MANILA, Philippines—Using hapless BaliPure as its battering ram, PetroGazz formally barged into the Final Four of the Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference Conference at Imus City Sports Complex in Cavite.

The Angels scored an easy 25-19, 25-22, 25-18 win and kept their record unbeaten at 7-0 while handing the Water Defenders their sixth consecutive defeat.

Janisa Johnson scored 17 points, while Wilma Salas added 14 for PetroGazz which encountered token opposition throughout the match.

With BaliPure imports Alexandra Vajdova and Daniela Dzakovic trying to keep up in offense, PetroGazz remained in the driver’s seat converting on more blocks (7-1) and aces (6-2) in the first two sets.
