PAL Interclub: Wack Wack gets boost from Manotocs
DAVAO—Regular men’s action in the 69th Philippine Airlines Interclub gets going here Wednesday, with Wack Wack looming as a beneficiary of Canlubang’s leave of absence.
Tommy Manotoc, two days after leading the Sugar Barons to a successful defense of their Senior championship crown, will be playing in the regular division together with two of his sons—Matthew and Gabriel.
That development has certainly given Wack Wack an added boost even as Del Monte will try to win the Championship division for the first time out of home soil.

The Manotocs would usually see action for Canlubang when needed. Canlubang begged off from playing this year after losing most of its players to the professional ranks.
Meanwhile, Fil-Am Hawaii and Club Intramuros topped their respective divisions as senior action came to a close late Sunday afternoon at both Apo Golf and the Rancho Palos Verdes layouts.

With Wilfred Pacpaco and Buddy Gendrano adding 32 and 28 points, respectively, Fil-Am Hawaii finished the four-day event with 479 points.
Davao’s final day rally came up short despite 121 fourth round points courtesy of the 43 from Nick Olarte and the 39 each coming from Jimmy Testado and Oscar Lopez.
Chamorro drew 41 points from Ben Palomo and a pair of 33s from John Camaco and Frank Cruz to finish third.
