Jaraula shoots for back-to-back wins
Barely a week removed after breaking through, Reymon Jaraula shoots for back-to-back wins this week when the ICTSI Del Monte Championship gets off the ground on Wednesday.
Definitely with momentum after thwarting the veteran Antonio Lascuña in a playoff last week to win at Pueblo de Oro, Jaraula has an edge over basically the same field he conquered in Cagayan de Oro with the tournament to be played over the tree-lined course in Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon, where he learned to play the game.
“I feel good and I believe I can win at Del Monte where I used to train,” said Jaraula.

Another player worth watching—also because of his talent and local knowledge—is Clyde Mondilla, the reigning PH Open champion who is one of Del Monte’s foremost products.
“There are a lot of good players so I really have to work hard to win again,” added the 27-year-old Jaraula.

Meanwhile, a select group of pros test the tight, challenging layout one last time in today’s (Tuesday) pro-am where they will be paired with guests and officials of the event’s chief backers.
