PVL: Motolite makes quick work of BaliPure, nears semis

MANILA, Philippines–Motolite crushed BaliPure, 25-16, 25-21, 25-19, Saturday to move closer to a semifinals berth in the Premier Volleyball League Open Conference at FilOil Flying V Center.

Tots Carlos and Isa Molde joined hands in scoring 32 points to help the Motolite Spikers notch their ninth victory in 14 games, just one shy of nailing outright semis spot.

It was the second straight win for Motolite which can take the semis spot without any complication if it beat PacificTown-Army next week.

Myla Pablo helped up with eight markers despite being fielded in only for two sets because of her problematic back.

The Water Defenders absorbed their 11th defeat in 15 matches.
