Mayweather responds to Pacquiao, mocks Jack Ma
MANILA, Philippines—It’s been more than four years since Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather squared off in the biggest boxing match in the history of the sport but speculations of a rematch, be it real or a gimmick, continue to surface from time to time.
Just recently, Pacquiao called out Mayweather in a video he posted on social media with Chinese billionaire Jack Ma.
Article continues after this advertisementIt certainly did not go unnoticed with Mayweather offering a quick counter to Pacquiao in a video on TMZ.
“I know what he said but when he finally see me, I’ll beat him,” Mayweather, who retired with an undefeated record of 50-0, said in the video.
In the video, Pacquiao, the current WBA (Super) welterweight champion, challenged Mayweather to a “real fight” after he entertainingly worked Ma’s mitts.

If you want an exhibition then my guy, my friend, Jack Ma will take care of you,” said Pacquiao referring to Mayweather’s last appearance in a boxing ring when he fought an overmatched Japanese kickboxing star in a three-round exhibition that lasted only one round in 2018.
Mayweather, who earned $9 million for the event, also mocked Ma when asked about the a possible exhibition with the Alibaba founder.
“Who? I don’t even know who he is,” said a laughing Mayweather, pertaining to Ma.
