Gilas maintains Fiba world ranking at No. 31
MANILA, Philippines—The Philippines remained at the no.31 in the Fiba’s world rankings a few days after the conclusion of its November window for the continental qualifiers.
Gilas Pilipinas amassed 340.8 points and maintained its ranking after remaining unbeaten in the group stages of the 2021 Fiba Asia Cup Qualifiers. The Filipinos picked up two wins against Thailand in Manama, Bahrain.

World no.3 Australia (666.5 points) is at the top of the Asia rankings with Iran (432.1 points), world no.23, at second and New Zealand (420.5), world no. 25, at third in the region.
Reigning Olympic gold medalist United States remains at the top of the world standings with 781.4 points while defending Fiba World Cup champion Spain is at second with 721.2 points with both basketball giants staying put in their spts
