Greg Slaughter weds longtime girlfriend Schinina Juban

MANILA, Philippines—Greg Slaughter tied the knot with longtime girlfriend Schinina Juban on Thursday, a day after his former club Barangay Ginebra captured its first PBA Philippine Cup in 13 years.

The 7-foot center announced the marriage through his social media accounts, posting several pictures of their ceremony.

“Mr. and Mrs. Greg Slaughter and Schinina Slaughter. 12.10.20. I love you forever,” wrote Slaughter.

“Our happiest of happy days. Everything in God’s perfect timing. I love you forever,” wrote Schinina on her own Instagram.

Congratulatory messages came pouring in from friends of the Slaughters including Cassy Naidas-Aguilar, Jared Dillinger, RR Enriquez, Justin Melton, and Rob Labagala.

Slaughter did not join Ginebra in its Philippine Cup campaign after his contract expired and instead decided to stay in the United States.

Ginebra head coach Tim Cone, however, wishes Slaughter would come back to the team.
