House reso commending BREN Esports after world championship win filed
MANILA, Philippines — A resolution commending Filipino team BREN Esports after winning the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang M2 world championship has been filed in the House of Representatives.
This was contained in House Resolution No. 1524 filed by Leyte 4th District Rep. Lucy Torres-Gomez following the tournament held in Singapore last month.
“As a rising industry which has been gaining popularity in an increasing number of countries, esports or competitive online gaming carries a lot of career opportunities and develops among its players the same athletic qualities of discipline, commitment and professionalism,” Torres-Gomez said in the resolution.

BREN Esports was hailed as world champions after taking down the Burmese Ghouls 4-3 in the grand finals of the Mobile Legend: Bang Bang’s M2.
Teams from Brazil, Russia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Myanmar, Japan, and Cambodia also participated in the global Mobile Legends tournament.
