Former PBA player Mac Cardona arrested anew
MANILA, Philippines—Former PBA player Mac Cardona was arrested last Thursday for serious physical injuries, Mandaluyong City Police said.
Judge Ma. Victoria Q. Padilla-Awid of Metropolitan Trial Court Branch 116 issued the warrant of arrest that allowed operatives from Station Sub Station 1 of Mandaluyong City Central Police to apprehend Cardona around 9 am Thursday.

Other details of the case have not been made public.
Cardona was involved in a parking lot brawl in Bonifacio Global City in February 2020.
Article continues after this advertisementCardona, a one-time PBA champion, was also arrested in 2018 for allegedly injuring his live-in partner. He also suffered a pill overdose in 2016.
He played for San Juan Knights in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League in 2019.
