A REJUVENATED Brian “The Hawaiian Punch” Viloria looks to sustain his recent stellar run when he squares off Sunday against Mexican Omar Niño Romero at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.

The Filipino-American will be putting his WBO flyweight title on the line against the Mexican, who dealt him a unanimous decision loss in 2006.

The 31-year-old Viloria won his last two fights, beating Julio Cesar Miranda in July 2011 to capture the WBO belt, before dominating another Mexican, Giovanni Segura, last December.

“It’s personal,” said Viloria, who has 30 wins, including 17 knockouts, and three losses. “I’ve trained harder than before and it’s going to show. Expect fireworks.”

Former world champions Rodel Mayol and Julio Cesar Miranda, both former victims of Romero and Viloria, respectively, collide in the main support of the fight card dubbed “Laban ng Lahi Presents Island Assault 4: Viloria vs Romero.”
