MANILA, Philippines—John Riel Casimero’s defense of his WBO world bantamweight title against Paul Butler is finally pushing through with the bout set for April 22 in Liverpool, Probellum announced Thursday.
Casimero was supposed to make his mandatory defense back in December in Dubai but he pulled out of the fight due to viral gastritis resulting in a hospital confinement on the same day as the weigh-ins itself.
