Kai Sotto joins new sports agency, signs with Wasserman
MANILA, Philippines — Kai Sotto has joined distinguished sports agency, Wasserman, after he went undrafted in the 2022 NBA Rookie Draft last month.
The Los Angeles-based music and sports management company welcomed the 7-foot-3 center in a joint post on Instagram on Wednesday evening (Manila time).

When the 20-year-old was not selected in the draft, Bell said in an interview that Kai Sotto will skip Summer League to play for Gilas.

True enough, the undrafted Filipino prodigy didn’t join the Philippine men’s basketball team’s campaign in the 2022 Fiba Asia Cup in Indonesia.
The former Ateneo high school star also missed the NBA Summer League, which has already started this July.
Sotto is having a fresh start as he continues to chase his ultimate dream to still make it to the NBA despite getting undrafted.
Wasserman handles several NBA stars like four-time NBA champion Klay Thompson, former MVPs Russell Westbrook and Derrick Rose, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Lu Dort, Domantas Sabonis, and Evan Mobley.
East West Private, which also handles the Filipino star, is also thrilled to work with Wasserman.
“Beyond blessed for Kai and excited to work side by side with Wasserman,” EWP posted.
