PVL: Army Black Mamba shuts the door on Chery Tiggo
MANILA, Philippines–Army Black Mamba got back on track with a 25-20, 25-23, 25-22 romp of Chery Tiggo Tuesday, securing solo fourth in the 2022 Premier Volleyball League Invitational Conference heading into the final week of eliminations.
The victory put the Lady Troopers behind PLDT and Creamline, who are tied with 3-1 cards, and Cignal, which already clinched a berth in the semifinals where the two visiting foreign teams are waiting.

The Lady Troopers fended off a Crossovers side determined to save their season, battling a tough resistance in the second set before imposing their will in the deciding set.
Joanne Bunag hammered in an off-the-block hit sealed the win for Army Black Mamba and put the undermanned Chery Tiggo out of the running.
