MANILA—Eight-division world boxing champion Rep. Manny Pacquiao will throw the ceremonial darts kicking off the P1 Million Philippine Cup and Philipine Open Singles championships at 6 p.m. today at Clamshell in Intramuros, Manila.

The pound-for-pound king was recently named chair of the Darts Council of the Philippines (DCP), and has put up the P1 million ante in the three-day event ending with the men’s and ladies’ singles on Sunday.
