NCAA: Still room for improvement for Benilde star Will Gozum, says coach
MANILA, Philippines—One week after tallying a career-high, Will Gozum surpassed his scoring output again on Wednesday in the College of St. Benilde’s win over Jose Rizal University.
Gozum, after finishing with 25 points in the last game, tallied 34 big points to power the Blazers over the Heavy Bombers, 92-79.

“He had a good game except for his turnovers. Will carried us but he still had seven turnovers and zero assists,” lamented Tiu.
“Those turnovers are mind-boggling so I guess we have to work on his passing,” he added.

Tiu thinks the big man still has a long way to go to the next level and he will have to prove it in the Final Four season.
“To me, regular season is regular season but I want him to learn to deliver in the clutch. That’s where great players are made. It’s good to put up numbers but it’s important to help win games.”
Currently, the Blazers sit atop the NCAA standings with a 9-2 record. Gozum, meanwhile, is averaging 15.89 points, 9.67 rebounds and 1.22 blocks per game.
