De Murga gives PH Azkals 2-0 lead over Guam

STRONGER. Azkals aim to build a tougher core around players based in the Philippines.

MANILA, Philippines—Carli De Murga doubled Philippines’ lead over Guam in the 12th minute, 2-0, Tuesday in the Fifa-sanctioned international friendly at the Panaad Stadium in Bacolod City.

Earlier, Angel Guirado opened up the scoring for the Azkals with a curling effort in the 7th minute.
