Kim nails impressive debut win
The Tuason Racing School-Castrol racing team showed its mettle once again through Korean expatriate Mickey Kim who posted another big victory in the fourth leg of the 2012 Philippine GT Championship Series at the Clark International Speedway recently.
Kim, who only started racing in January under the grassroots TRS Cup program, stunned the favorites on his debut in the GT200 division to capture the crown.
Solo leader in the GT100 class in the first three legs, Kim was even more amazing moving up to a higher class where he upstaged the father-son tandem of Arnel and Dwight Kevin Carlos.

Gaining confidence, he pushed the power of his Honda Civic EK to check in fourth overall behind the top three title contenders of the series.
“He did what we asked him to do, and it produced amazing results,” said Castrol-TRS team manager Mike Tuason. “To finish fourth behind (Jody) Coseteng, (Vincent) Floirendo and (Jojo) Silverio is something we didn’t expect.” Steve Silva, Contributor
