MANILA, Philippines–Choco Mucho prevented a come-from-behind attempt by Chery Tiggo to carve out its third straight victory in the 2024 PVL All-Filipino Conference Saturday night at PhilSports Arena.
The Flying Titans shut the doors on the Crossovers with a 25-9, 25-23, 20-25, 25-17 performance behind the offensive troika of Sisi Rondina, Kat Tolentino and Maddie Madayag.

Brooke Van Sickle praises ex-classmate Sabrina Ionescu: ‘She’s extremely humble’
MANILA, Philippines — Brooke Van Sickle used to be WNBA star Sabrina Ionescu’s classmate during her time at University of Oregon.
Van Sickle, who is rocking Ionescu’s signature shoes Sabrina 1, shared that the New York Liberty guard was an acquaintance and she witnessed her growth before emerging as one of the top players in women’s basketball.

MANILA, Philippines–Brooke Van Sickle delivered her best outing yet in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference to lead Petro Gazz to a sweep of PLDT, 25-16, 25-23, 25-21, on Saturday at PhilSports Arena in Pasig.
Van Sickle, who was the PNVF Champions League Most Valuable Player last month, finished with 23 points including a block and an ace to startle the Savannah Davison-led High Speed Hitters.

MANILA, Philippines–Showing no signs of slowing down, Cignal cruised to a 2-0 start in the 2024 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference on Saturday.
The HD Spikers leaned on team captain and defensive ace Dawn Macandili-Catindig to dominate the Galeries Tower, 25-14, 25-16, 25-17, at PhilSports Arena in Pasig City.

PVL: In the company of Titans, Mars Alba finds connection with attackers
Mars Alba has only spent a short amount of time with her new team Choco Mucho and yet she has already shown she is capable of leading the Flying Titans.
And coach Dante Alinsunurin, despite still yearning for a better outing from Choco Mucho two games into the All-Filipino Conference, knows how much they lucked out in getting the services of the former F2 Logistics playmaker.

MANILA, Philippines — Choco Mucho star Sisi Rondina had nothing but good things to say about Petro Gazz newcomer Brooke Van Sickle after their first of many PVL duels last Tuesday.
Rondina got the better of Van Sickle as she dropped 24 points and 22 excellent receptions to lift the Flying Titans past the gritty Angels, 24-26, 25-22, 25-18, 24-26, 15-13, for their second straight win on Tuesday at Philsports Arena.
