Pingoy leads FEU-D on rout of UPIS

MANILA, Philippines — Reigning MVP Jerie Pingoy starred anew for Far Eastern University-Diliman Baby Tamaraws in the 76-46 thrashing of University of the Philippines Integrated School Junior Maroons Saturday in the UAAP juniors hoop actions.

Pingoy led the Baby Tamaraws to their fifth straight victory sans a loss with 18 points and six assists in the lone juniors match at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

FEU is tied with the NU Bullpups, who also triumphed Friday, at the top of the standings with a similar record.

Joel Lee Yu, Jeson Delfinado and Jose Domingo also pitched in double digit contributions with 15, 11 and 10 points, respectively.

Raymart Sablan was the only player who scored in twin digits with 10 points for the Junior Maroons, who fell to 1-4 and were now tied with the Adamson Baby Falcons.
