UAAP, NCAA games postponed due to Tropical Storm Kristine

MANILA, Philippines—The UAAP and NCAA postponed their scheduled games on Wednesday due to the inclement weather caused by Tropical Storm “Kristine.”

UAAP Season 87 basketball games between Adamson and Ateneo as well as the clash featuring University of the Philippines and University of the East will be set to a later date.

In the NCAA Season 100 men’s basketball tournament, league-leading College of St. Benilde was supposed to meet Lyceum while Emilio Aguinaldo College was scheduled to play Jose Rizal University prior to the suspension.

Kristine (international name: Trami) has placed 31 areas, including Metro Manila, under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 2, according to the 11 a.m. weather bulletin by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).

Both leagues are expected to post their updated schedules soon.
