Injuries haven’t been too kind for Didal in recent years.
She missed the 2024 Paris Olympics due to a fractured ankle. She also participated in the 2023 Asian Games, where she was the defending champion, but finished last due to nagging ankle pain.
Meanwhile, Gabryel Aguilar of Brazil reclaimed his spot as the men’s division champion.
