Lacey tops Lanao moto
Tyson “Tiger” Lacey stamped his class to banner another dominant show by American riders in the sixth leg of the Enersel Forte Philippine and World Motocross Series in Tubod, Lanao del Norte, over the weekend.
The 29-year-old from Wolf Creek, Oregon, topped both heats of the International Pro Open Division for a total of 50 points, besting Daniel Blair in both races (44).
Iloilo leg champion Dennis Stapleton made it a 1-2-3 US finish and tallied 40 points.
Filipino Glenn Aguilar broke the stranglehold of the American riders by securing fourth spot worth 34 points. Aguilar, the first and only Filipino Asian motocross champion (2004), captured the local Pro Open championship.
