Taipei female star joins Bugsy stable
CHINESE-TAIPEI superstar Tsai Pei-chen is now a member of the renowned Bugsy International Promotions headed by Ceferino “Perry” Mariano.
Tsai, World Pool-Billiard Association No. 9 and 2009 China Open champion will be joining fellow Taiwanese Chang Jung-lin and Ko Pin-yi and Filipino cue masters Dennis “Robocop” Orcollo, Carlo Biado, Roberto Gomez, Renemar David, Johann Chua and John Vincent Vicedo in the Bugsy fold.
“Like Chang and Ko, Tsai has the qualities of a world champion–-personality, dedication and discipline. With proper training and motivation, she would give glory to billiards,” said Mariano, who bared Tsai’s acquisition Monday at Hermes Sports Bar in West Avenue, Quezon City.
“It’s an honor to become a part of Bugsy International Promotions,” said Tsai through an interpreter. “I will try my best to meet the outfit’s expectations. My ambition to become world champion would be easier to reach with the support of Mr and Ms Perry and Verna Mariano.”
