MANILA, Philippines — Choco Mucho bid farewell to Royse Tubino, middle blockers Cherry Nunag and Aduke Ogunsanya and libero Bia General ahead of the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference in January.
The Flying Titans expressed their gratitude to the four players. Most PVL players’ contracts expire at the end of the year.

Choco Mucho will miss the leadership and offensive prowess of Tubino, who has been one of the team’s reliable spikers since 2024.
“Royse Tubino, our Sergeant on and off the court. Your courage, leadership, and relentless spirit as a flying titan made a lasting impact on the team. We can’t wait to see all the great things your next journey holds,” the Flying Titans wrote.
The 32-year-old Tubino, a Philippine Army sergeant, is bound to play for her fourth pro club after stints with the defunct Sta. Lucia and PLDT.
Nunag, a former Alas Pilipinas player, is set to join her third PVL club after four years with Choco Mucho.
The 33-year-old middle blocker was a champion player for Petro Gazz in the 2019 Reinforced Conference before playing for the defunct Perlas Spikers during the pandemic.

Ogunsanya, who started her pro stint with Choco Mucho in 2022, is also starting a new journey with a new team.
The former La Salle star just returned to action this year after suffering two ACL injuries in the 2022 Invitational Conference and 2024 All-Filipino.
General, the back-up of multi-time Best Libero winner Thang Ponce, also parted ways with the Flying Titans after one year with the team since she transferred from Cignal.
Choco Mucho is making big changes after missing the playoffs in the PVL on Tour and Reinforced Conference this year, where they missed SEA Games beach volleyball gold medalist and former league MVP Sisi Rondina.
Rondina last played in May during the 2024-25 All-Filipino, with the Flying Titans settling for fourth place.

Meanwhile, Creamline also parted ways with its pioneering player Rizza Mandapat.
“From every moment on the court to the energy you shared off it, you brought heart, effort, and good vibes to the Creamline Cool Smashers. You will always be part of the Creamline family,” the team wrote. “Wishing you all the best in your next chapter.”
Mandapat has been a Cool Smashers since the club joined the PVL in 2017. She was part of all 10 championships.
Same with another Creamline OG, Pau Soriano, who bid farewell early this month.
