MANILA, Philippines–Bernadeth Pons capped her comeback with another Finals MVP award, leading Creamline’s title redemption tour in the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference.
Pons dazzled with 22 points, 25 digs, and 15 excellent receptions in the Cool Smashers’ 25-23, 22-25, 25-16, 16-25, 15-11 clincher in Game 2 over Cignal.
Creamline reclaimed the All-Filipino Conference crown after losing it to Petro Gazz Angels last season.
It was Pons’ second Finals MVP honor after Creamline’s 2024 Reinforced title run.
The FEU product returned to the roster this year after a gold medal run in beach volleyball in the 33rd SEA Games.
In Game 1, the former league MVP delivered 11 points, 15 digs, and five excellent receptions in Creamline’s 25-22, 25-18, 25-16 sweep of Cignal on Tuesday.
