CAPAS, Tarlac—The Seoul Cycling Team claimed the only team time trial of the MPTC Tour of Luzon during Thursday’s second stage that ended at New Clark City here.

One of South Korean teams competing in this derby on wheels, Seoul ruled the event in 56 minutes and 35 seconds, with Excellent Noodles placing second and Standard Insurance Philippines finishing third.

Excellent Noodles was 16 seconds behind Seoul, but it allowed the local club to take the lead in the team general classification standings.

Standard Insurance reached the podium a gap of 55 seconds.

LCW UAE Cycle was fourrh (+1:05), followed by MPT DriveHub (+1:20), Go for Gold Philippines (+1:31), Malaysian national team (+1:47), 7-Eleven Cliqq Roadbike Philippines (+1:53), Ponti Wijaya (+2:32) and Dreyna Orion Philippines (+3:12).

Rounding out the list are Gapyeong Cycling Team (+3:31), Team Pangasinan (+3:40) and CCN Factory (+3:47).

Teams took off at Parade Grounds in Clark, with a distance of 43 kilometers, taking turns after a certain time interval.

The four best individual times from each team were used to determine the results.
