BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya—Russian rider Ivan Anisimov ruled the fourth stage of the MPTC Tour of Luzon in a bunch finish on Saturday in this city.
The LCW UAE Cycle pedalist was part of the peloton that would catch up with a three-man lead pack led by defending champion Daeyeong Joo during the descent coming from Kiyang Climb before emerging as the first to cross the line at the provincial capitol here.
He actually crashed with 25 kilometers to go but found his way back to eventually beat out Seoul Cycling Team’s Jung Hoon Lee and 7-Eleven Roadbike Philippines’ Ronnilan Quita.
