Alex Eala gains main draw entry to Queen’s Club Championships

The Filipino tennis ace has been listed as part of the main draw in the WTA 500 tournament.
Eala was initially listed as a qualifier, but got the main draw entry with Karolina Pliskova of Czechia, due to the injuries of Jessica Pegula and Hailey Baptiste.

Interestingly, Serena Williams, a 23-time Grand Slam champion, also makes her comeback after four years in the Queen’s Club Championships.

Eala is currently competing in the WTA125 Birmingham Open, reaching the quarterfinals of the WTA 125 event.
The World No.37 Eala is also set to play in the WTA500 Bad Homburg Open, where she will team up with Venus Williams in the doubles tournament.
