Olivarez-Philta Open tennis slated August
Tennis players from all over the country battle for a lion’s share of the P500,000 pot in the first Olivarez-Philta Open tennis championship slated Aug. 1 to 21 at the Olivarez Sports Center in Sucat, Parañaque.
Ranking points are also at stake in the tournament presented by the Philippine Lawn Tennis association (Philta) and supported by Dunlop Sports.
Events on tap are men’s and women’s singles and doubles, pro-am doubles, men’s and women’s team tennis, intercollegiate categories as well as the age-group for boys’ and girls’ 18-under, 16, under, 14-under, 12-under, and unisex 10-under.
