PH Muzangs drub Aussies

The PhilippineMuzangs, gearing up for international stints, swept the Australia-Philippines Futsal Cup recently.

Headed by team captain Misagh Bahadoran and co-captain Daniel Matsunaga, the Muzangs bested the Australians thrice in one day.

The first game went, 5-0, the second, 7-0; before the Muzangs mercifully allowed the Australians to score, 5-1, in their third encounter.

Mentored by San Maher, the Muzangs also beat the Koreans in their own friendly.

The Muzangs, who are going around the country to promote the sport and teach the kids the rudiments of the game, are being supported by SM Supermalls and outfitted by Accel Philippines.

Also behind the Muzangs are national team committee head Dan Palami, team manager Macasaquit, assistant manager Ace Bright and consultant Clem Apacible.
