We’re coming up against a strong team but with a quotient, we have a shot at a best-of-three.”
The Batang Pier didn’t go without a fight but the Aces just proved to be the steadier team down the stretch.
Abueva drained a triple to stop Global Port’s run, making it a seven-point game, 84-77, before JVee Casio found his rookie teammate to finish the break, 91-81, with 1:09 remaining.
