MANILA, Philippines — Boxing champion Nonito “The Filipino Flash” Donaire Jr. paid a courtesy call on President Benigno S. Aquino Thursday afternoon.

Donaire met with President Aquino at the Music Room of Malacañang, day after his arrival from the United States where he forged his masterful KO victory over Mexican Jorge Arce.

Donaire went home with a stunning feat across his name, a 30-fight winning streak — including four victories this year — dating back to a decade ago.
