Philsports Complex renovation under way
The Philippine Sports Commission has earmarked at least P150 million for the rehabilitation starting early next year of the athletes’ dormitory and cafeteria at the Philsports Complex in Pasig City.
PSC chair Richie Garcia said the renovation should be completed late May at the height of the country’s preparation for the 2013 Southeast Asian Games in Myanmar.
“We only want what’s best for the athletes. If we take care of them, there’s no reason for them not to deliver,” said Garcia.

“We’re doing the scientific way of training the athletes. Hopefully, it will bear fruit starting with the SEA Games,” said POC president Jose “Peping” Cojuangco Jr. during the POC induction of officers yesterday.
