FEU handily beats UE in men’s volleyball
MANILA, Philippines – Defending champion Far Eastern University stamped its class on struggling University of the East, 25-15, 25-23, 25-19, Sunday in the UAAP Season 75 at the Arena in San Juan.
John Ian Depamaylo, FEU’s hero against rival University of Santo Tomas last Wednesday, picked up where he left off with game-highs 15 points on 14 hits.
Looking to end the match quickly, the Tamaraws got off to a strong start in the opening set.

FEU, which barely escaped UST, 25-23, 26-24, 22-25, 22-25, 17-15, the last time out, had little trouble against UE as it connected on 49 out of its 97 attacks.
The Tamaraws hiked their record to 10-1 while the Red Warriors remain at the bottom of the standings with at 1-10.
