Inching closer to his dream of competing in Formula One, Marlon Stockinger achieved another historic feat, following his promotion to junior driver of the prestigious Lotus Formula One team.
Considered as one of the brightest young talents at Lotus, Stock-inger boosted his stock after a big victory in the 2012 GP3 Series in Monaco late last year.
The Filipino-Swiss driver joins six other bright prospects —Marco Sorensen of Denmark, Alex Fontana of Switzerland, Oscar Tunjo of Colombia, Esteban Ocon of France, Alexander Albon of Thailand, and Dorian Boccolacci of France—who will all be honed by Lotus.
