Perpetual rookie named NCAA best of the week
ONLY in his first season at Perpetual Help, Juneric Baloria has proven to be an impact player for the Altas in NCAA Season 89.
The latest product coming out of talent-rich Pampanga, Baloria’s stock rose early in the season with explosive performances for the Altas, who share second spot with San Beda.
Last week, however, saw Baloria’s ability to buck pain and still deliver for Perpetual Help.
Article continues after this advertisementDespite a thigh injury, Baloria powered Perpetual to two wins against Arellano (73-66) and Mapua (73-68).
During the two-game stretch, Baloria averaged 17 points per outing.
Meanwhile, the league condemned the attempt on the life of Letran player Franz Dysam and the killing of his girlfriend Joanne Sordan in a statement sent to reporters yesterday.
