Perpetual Help gunners ready for PBA stint

/ 12:45 AM October 12, 2014

AFTER coming through with their best statistical season and leading Perpetual Help to its third straight Final Four appearance in the NCAA, Altas Juneric Baloria and Harold Arboleda are ready to strut their wares in the PBA.

Baloria leads the league in scoring by averaging 21.14 points a game and has improved his defense and passing by norming 5.21 rebounds, 2.79 assists, 1.14 steals and nearly a block a game.

Arboleda, for his part, has added three-point shooting and playmaking to his already solid defensive arsenal to average 13.79 points, including an impressive 41-percent clip from beyond the arc, to go with 8.86 boards, five assists and a steal a game.

Interestingly, Baloria and Arboleda, tabbed by Blackwater and Talk N’ Text, respectively, in last August’s rookie draft, found their way to the same team, the NLEX Road Warriors, after being dealt in separate trades.

Aric del Rosario, their seasoned Perpetual Help coach, said Baloria and Arboleda are ready to play in the pros.
