Daquis, Reyes charm Iloilo fans
Rachel Anne Daquis and Mika Reyes worked their charm in Iloilo as local fans packed the PLDT Home Ultera Install Patrol’s volleyball showcase recently.
Joining Daquis and Reyes were Aiza Maizo-Pontillas, Ran Ran Abdilla, John Vic De Guzman, Peter Torres, Gretchen Ho and Iloilo’s own Jovelyn Gonzaga.
Fresh off the tour’s Bacolod leg, the spikers joined the motorcade, graced a meet-and-greet and saw action in an exhibition match. Coaches also conducted a volleyball clinic at University of San Agustin Gym.
“On top of honing the talents and passion of young aspiring athletes around the nation, this is an opportunity for us to democratize broadband by making it more accessible to homes in far-flung areas, with the help of our Philippine volleyball superstars and the local government units,” said PLDT vice president Gary Dujali.
The volleyball showcase will soon head to Puerto Princesa, Palawan and the Camanava area. Jasmine W. Payo
