SILVERSTONE--Brazilian Felipe Massa said his Ferrari is too slow to make any impression in this weekend's British Grand Prix after he qualified in 11th position on Saturday.
The 28-year-old Ferrari driver said he was puzzled by his car's lack of performance, but just hoped for the best in the race.
"The balance is not too bad, but the car was maybe a bit slower than the others, so that's the only problem, to be honest," said Massa.
"Maybe the others found better developments in the last few weeks and maybe they made a bigger step than us. It's difficult to explain.
"There's not much we can do. We need to see what's going to be the best fuel (strategy), but I don't think there's a massive change we can do in the car to gain a big performance.
"The race will not be so easy, but the race is the race and many things can happen, so I hope we can have some things in our favor."
