The Nationals absorbed their first loss after a pair of victories in tune-up matches against bigger Lithuanian squads.

Reyes’ son, Josh, who is also the team’s assistant, hopes the Nationals would learn from the setback where they gave up 15 triples.

“(We) got our first loss today to this great shooting team. We will face similar teams in Fiba Asia. (We) got to take the lessons to heart. Focus also wasn’t all there,” Josh wrote on his instagram account where a portion of the game’s stat-sheet was shown.
