MANILA, Philippines — Athletic import Elijah Millsap scored 27 points as Petron Blaze chalked up its third straight win at the expense of Air21, 112-86, in the 38th PBA Governors’ Cup at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
Millsap also grabbed 12 rebounds while six-foot-10 center June Mar Fajardo added 17 points to help the Boosters improve to 3-1.
With explosive scorer Zach Graham kept from having his usual ways offensively, the Express lacked the firepower to match the Boosters, who had six players in double-digit scoring with Marcio Lassiter and Alex Cabagnot tallying 13 apiece.
Air21 drew 19 points from Graham and 16 more from Canaleta but those weren’t enough as the Express dropped to 1-3.
