MANILA, Philippines — Far Eastern University’s Terrence Romeo bagged the Most Valuable Player plum for UAAP season 76, ending the two-year reign of National University’s Bobby Ray Parks.
The explosive guard amassed 75.2857 statistical points to become the second player from the Tamaraws to win the MVP in the last four seasons.
Romeo, also a former rookie-of-the-year, ended the elimination round with a solid average of 22.2 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 1.6 steals a game.
University of the East’s Charles Mammie came in at second place with 75 SPs, but was disqualified from the MVP race because of suspensions.
